I am new to forums, so I hope this is ok. I am the co-founder of The Weight of Mountains and we have funded and non-funded places for a film development residency in Iceland.
The Weight of Mountains is a new pilot-project to explore our humanity within the throws of the vast, overwhelming expanse of our surrounding environments. Be those environments geographical, political, physical, emotional, or immediate peripheries of our existent nature, one thing we know is that they shape us.
We want to bring filmmakers together to create a short film on-site to include in a film festival.

Hi,
For sure, it is a film development residency we are running to bring filmmakers to Iceland, it is run through Nes Artist Residency and will go for 3 months. Filmmakers will be selected from their applications, and they will then come to Iceland and create their short film here for The Weight of Mountains film festival.
Filmmakers need to have made 2 films or more, and should be 21 years or older.
