Question Regarding Filmmaking

How to prepare myself to direct films like avatar , transformers, lord of the ring ect. I mean I am writing and almost finished the screenplay of a film like the films mentioned above not boasting myself but I want to know whether I could prepare myself 360 degree to direct the film like the directors named CAMAROON, BAY, JACKSON and SPIELBERG, I mean How james camaroon prepared himself to shoot and direct film like terminator, avatar?

you may understand what kind of technical skills he possessed to attract producers and studios?

so what kind of stuffs should i watch, read and reference to get THAT SORT of knowledge so that I could make producers believe on my screenplay?Do I really need to learn all cinematography ,animation and vfx kind of stuffs apart from a great screenplay to direct a film like avatar, transformers ect.?

I am already doing all those things but was wandering for the stuffs (technical or non technical) to acquire that a world class visionary filmmakers actully do and perform. I mean how would I instruct, say a sound designer or a audio or sound engineer to produce an audio experience in real time in 3d like we watch 3d for screen, lot of technical discussion further. So kindly suggest.
